Pre-Production Work
I have now mostly finished the pre-production work for the animated zombie series. There may be a little something more to do but I am currently waiting for feedback.

Walking the Dog
Today I have been doing some tests on Flash, for the animation 'Walking the Dog'. I have done the opening scene and when the video has finished uploading on the vimeo account I will link it to the blog so you can have a look.

Animated Zombies
This is a blog for my Animated Zombie series of animations that I will be doing in Flash. Up to this point in time from the 17th of September I have been developing my idea.
This started out as an idea where people are turned into zombies when they put on the headphones of a music playing device that is sold by an evil company. The only way to tackle these zombies was by cutting the headphone cable. To do this, the zombie killers would use various other items of music paraphernalia, such as: cassette grenades, LP's/CDs to slice through the cables.
However with the time frame that I have available for this project it was suggested there may not be time to do everything that I wanted to do for this animation, so I changed the idea.
The new idea that I chose was to keep using the zombies, having now no suggestion of how they change into zombies, and use them in funny situations like 'Walking the Dog' an image of the comic strip storyboard being in the drawing section of this blog.
So far since the idea for my animation has changed, the work that I have done is:
The next step is to start converting the storyboards I have done into animatics and to get on with setting out what the production schedule will be.

- Designs of Zombie, both of the Zombies to be used and drawing practice by converting friends pictures into zombie-esque pictures.
- Idea development, writing a list of what the zombie are going to do and then drawing these as 3 box comic strips.
- Marketing + Development Plan, so researching various animation festivals and various ways of using the internet to market the animation(s). This includes: this blog, a new twitter account @AniZombies, and a Vimeo account vimeo.com/AniZombies.
- Budget plan, for what is going to be spent in producing this animation.
